Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) Study for BPH

 

Non-Surgical Treatment Option for Enlarged Prostates.

 

A research study at the University of Alberta Hospital is seeking participants to determine the safety and effectiveness of treating enlarged prostates (benign prostatic hypertrophy; BPH) by blocking the blood supply to the prostate.

 

Men who are 50 years and older that have enlarged prostates are eligible for the study.
